Free Genetic Testing

A genetic test helps investigate mutations (i.e., changes in DNA). This allows for the detection of hereditary diseases or predispositions to hereditary diseases.

The PLN Foundation collaborates with the DCM Foundation, a foundation dedicated to helping people with heart muscle disease in which the heart dilates, the muscle wall thins, and its pumping function decreases.

Thanks to the fantastic work of the DCM Foundation, it is now possible to get a free genetic test. It’s possible to get a genetic test for the first time or to test again:

  1. The genetic test is FREE and you can test from your home.
  2. Up to 50% of all cardiomyopathy cases have a genetic component.
  3. Medical guidelines recommend genetic testing.
  4. Genetic testing can improve your care – and maybe save your life.
