As a Department Secretary at PLN Foundation, you will contribute to a meaningful cause with your skills. You know how to quickly switch between different projects, agendas, colleagues and stakeholders. You do this kindly and carefully, with you people feel comfortable asking questions. They know that they can leave the work to you – then everything will be fine. You ensure the smooth running of PLN Foundation’s operations.
With your role, you have a lot of influence on the foundation’s operations. You are the point of contact for immediate colleagues, volunteers, scientists and external parties we work with. Does someone have a general question or do they not know where to turn? Chances are they will knock on your door (digitally).
You know exactly where to lead them and have no problem investigating when you don’t know something. You have a firm grasp of the responsibilities within this role and enjoy doing so.
What are we looking for in you as our new colleague?
Your tasks alternate every day. You can handle this well; in fact, it suits you perfectly. Does an email or request come in with urgency? You know exactly what action needs to be taken and make sure everything gets to the right person. What else do you do during the working week?
The PLN Foundation employs a team that is 100% committed every day to our mission: to find a safe and affordable treatment for PLN! We are tremendously committed to this mission and you can see that within every aspect of our team. Everyone has their own expertise, but a common goal.
Work is hard, but there is a nice atmosphere among themselves and everyone is given space to share their ideas. We reflect on our business (and sometimes personal) successes. The success of the foundation continues to grow steadily, as does the organization.
We are currently professionalizing in every area, which is why we feel it is important to further expand our team with the most dedicated experts in the field. PLN Foundation collaborates at a high national and international level with leading experts. Are you the next expert who aligns with our mission?
We are looking for a colleague to do this part-time position for 24-32 hours per week. Regular working days are Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday.
Your work contributes to a greater cause. You will use your skills to make a positive impact on the lives of carriers of the PLN mutation. We are putting our shoulders to the wheel together and we really need you.
