The foundation has established this company, a bio-tech start-up, to support and accelerate the process of developing and introducing new therapies for PLN R14del. Thanks to this start-up, the foundation has a solid foundation to ensure effective and accessible treatments for patients.
Catalyze
Since 2020, our foundation has been closely collaborating with the subsidy agency Catalyze. They assist us in obtaining funding for various partnerships. Catalyze specializes in identifying suitable subsidy opportunities and preparing grant applications. Their expertise helps us achieve our goals.
CURE-PLaN
CURE-PLaN is a network of scientists from all over the world. Thanks to this transatlantic collaboration, scientists gather twice a year, once in Europe and once in America. These meetings ensure that research progresses swiftly and that scientists are aware of each other’s work and progress.
The Hearts Bank
The PLN Foundation is co-founder of The Dutch Hearts Bank. This is a central biobank where heart tissue from deceased donors is stored. Thanks to this biobank, scientists can better investigate what goes wrong in various heart diseases. The foundation closely collaborates with the Hearts Bank.
Netherlands Heart Institute
The NHLI supports us in various projects such as Psider Heart, Geremy and CURE-PLaN. The NHLI manages the CURE-PLaN project to ensure smooth operations. They foster collaborations among all cardiology departments of universities throughout the Netherlands. Additionally, they focus on promoting young medical scientific talent.
